The Three Remuneration Tribunals are independent bodies established by legislation to make binding determinations on remuneration and/or additional entitlements. In particular;

The Statutory and Other Offices Remuneration Tribunal makes determinations on the remuneration payable to the:

• Chief Executive and Senior Executive Service (SES)
• Judges and Magistrates Group
• Court and Related Officers Group
• Public Office Holders

The Parliamentary Remuneration Tribunal makes determinations on allowances, equipment services and facilities for State Members of Parliament

The Local Government Remuneration Tribunal makes determinations on:

• Categories for Councils
• The minimum and maximum fee levels for each Category.
